Hi Harv. Hi Peak Potentials people. I’m Chef Todd Mohr, I read Secrets of the Millionaire Mind and it didn’t change my life at the time, what it did is change my attitudes about money and I later came to realize this was the basis for changing my life.
I went to see Secrets of the Millionaire Mind Intensive and saw Harv live – that changed my life, because it changed my focus from making money to following my passion, finding a passion that I can help others, and the income follows.
It was a tremendous benefit. It also helped my money communications in my household, because my wife and I now have the same philosophy, and we move forward; it strengthens our marriage. We came home from the intensive seminar and created our Harv wall, complete with our arrows at the neck; and so many of the things that rang true to us, Harv’s ideas were the catalyst that gave us the courage to follow our passion and not just follow money.
So, how does a chef with a catering company help people all over the world? I had to give this a lot of thought. When I found my passion, I realized it was teaching cooking, not catering - teaching cooking. And I opened a cooking school.
Well, to promote the school I decided to do some videos on YouTube, maybe five or ten or so. I eventually wound up doing more than 200 cooking videos on YouTube! I had 4,300 subscribers, more than 700,000 views, and now I’m getting e-mails on a daily basis, people thanking me, telling me I’ve changed their life.
The YouTube videos led to DVDs, passive income for sale on the internet, and this led to my weekly online cooking classes, webcookingclasses.com. Now my passive income stream lets me work at what I love, and I help thousands of people all over the world on a daily basis.
I no longer trade my time just for money. I spend my time with what I want to do, and using my passion now helps others, and I find the income follows, rather than doing what I have to do, just for money. It’s not easy, by any means; it was two and a half years ago that I went to Harv, and I still refer to my Harv wall on a daily basis, especially when things get difficult.
I feel the fear and I do it anyway.
